Earlier this week I wrote about the start of Sonisphere Festival, and now I'm back to talk about the Saturday line-up. And the weather...

Sonisphere Festival: Getting To Camp & Friday Line-Up
I took a few of days of holiday from work over the past week for something I had been looking forward to for many months: Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth, Stevenage. Now that I'm back from a music-fuelled weekend, I thought I'd share my experience with you, just in case you aren't able to make it to a festival yourself this summer.
This blog post is part one of three, as I figured it would make more sense to cover each of the days separately to have a proper look at the line-ups. Here I'll talk about the day we arrived (Thursday) and the first proper day of the festival (Friday)...

The Swan At Streatley: Celebrating Our 6 Year Anniversary
This weekend marks a couple of exciting things in my life: this time next year I will be getting married, and it is also my six year anniversary with Mr. B. We've had a lovely weekend in the sunshine with a walk, some drinks at the pub, and a mini picnic in the park. Today we topped it off with a special meal at our wedding venue to be, down at Streatley in West Berkshire.

Gearing Up For Sonisphere Festival...
Earlier this week I finally made my selection on the Metallica By Request website; I needed to vote ahead of Sonisphere festival to have an input into their set list on the day. You can view the results for Knebworth, England if you are interested in which songs came out top in the vote...
Doing this made me realise that the festival is actually taking place in a couple of weeks time - it's come around really quickly. Of course this then meant it was time to stop procrastinating and get on with buying all the appropriate gear for the festival.
